DEDICATION 4 [LIL WAYNE] REVIEW

I posted the link to download Lil wayne’s fourth installment of Dedication mixtape series two days back. After listening and consulting with a few rap-heads, I have come to a conclusion about the tape. Well, just to warn, if you disagree with any of the ratings you shall see below, then make your comments known, you don’t know where to comment? After the post……………durrrrr.

First track off the fourth installment of the dedication series recorded over Rick Ross' So sophisticated instrumental, decent bars all through, nothing eye-catching, worth a listen.

Same damn tune -2.5/5

Decent song, nice flow, but irrelevant lyrics, epitome of Weezy's career of late

Definitely one of the best in this tape. 'No pussys, no rats/no tom & jerry'. A ‘Four-star’ track for his rap career at the moment.

No worries ft. Detail -2/5

Talking bout how he worries not about anything, (isn't that obvious sef) well, his best line was pobably, 'I should talk bout my dick/but that would be a long story'

Mercy ft. Nicki Minaj-3.5/5

Off GOOD's summer anthem, you might say subliminals thrown at Kanye & crew, ('Fuck your lambo, fuck your murcie/i got more money, in my fucking purse) but nicki reminds us how good she was before the pop cross-over. Wayne had great flow here, well dubbed from 'YE

Burn -2.99/5

Wayne went in on the Meek Mill's Burn instrumental. Decent track until he said 'Young Money bitch we at the top like barbwire'. This is something i expect from Ice Prince, not Lil wayne.

This is undoubtedly my best on the tape. Superb music from Wayne at last!. 'The money changed me/I’m making chameleons'.

Get smoked ft. Lil Mouse-1/5

Lil mouse is just 13years old. He has a nice voice though, at least better than mine. X_X. Let's hope that 4 years from now, he would be as big as Drizzy and Nicki that appeared on Dedication 3. Boring track.

Boring track. You should probably be asleep, listening to the mixtape but this is the best sleeping-pill.

Weak first verse, second verse sounded better than the original kanye/ross thing.

Not really a track, just an outro little wayne voicing out his support for his home city, New Orleans. He surprisingly did not rant about pussy, Trukfit, skating or his dick cos that's what he practically did on the mixtape.

My opinion,  the compilation is a 6/10 which is not what we expect from MIXTAPE WEEZY, hence, Lil Wayne has sadly lost it, i still enjoy his songs though, no hating. What if he talked throughout the tape?, would it have been better, cos he made so much sense when he dint rap. What's your take on the mixtape?
